Mapperton Lamb
It’s the hills on Billy and Joe Lintell’s farm in Mapperton that make their lamb taste so good. All that frolicking up and down gives their meat a distinct, tender texture that’s full of natural flavour.
Billy and Joe, with a little help from their kids Albert and Florence, also breed Oxford Sandy and Black pigs. Outdoor reared and naturally weaned, the meat takes much longer to mature than your average pork and has a distinct, dark colour. Our older guests tells us it’s how pork used to taste.
When she’s not down on the farm, Billy is also our Office and Marketing Manager.
