The Gold Room

The Gold Room is one of our fabulous Deluxe Doubles and is furnished with a six-foot brass bed and a pocket-sprung mattress, a Tivoli Audio radio and flat-screen TV.

The night stands are by Signature, the carved Chinese dressing table is from Headful in Bridport, the wallpaper is Malabar by Cole & Son, the little gold Chesterfield sofa is antique.

There is a walk-in shower with separate loo. The roll-top bath is a vintage original, the mirror above the basin was found in a Clignancourt flea market in Paris.

We have left the old wooden floors au naturelle, and we have added a deep-pile rug, fluffy towels, Egyptian cotton linen and Neal's Yard toiletries.
